Properly cover the entire effected area. Remember always buy same matching color for the car color paint. It acts as car rust treatment as the color will prevent the moisture and salt from accumulating. Like a first aid you can also use nail polish for time being. It will give protection for someday. But it is better if we use car color paint. Always remove the rusted part with the sandpaper. Never use color over the rusted portion.
