Whether you bought your car brand new or used, you want it to look like new for a long time. This can be a challenge though since we all get busy with our day to day lives. As we are so busy with work, family and other things we tend to overlook the thing that gets us to all of our important places so we can do what matters to us, our cars. It is easier to say "I will clean my car tomorrow" or "I will fix that when I get more free time" than actually just doing what needs to be done to our cars. Unfortunately, we don't realize that we have put our cars to the wayside for too long until they really don't look good anymore. So, if that has happened to you here are a few simple things you can do to make your car look new again.

First off you should start by detailing your car inside and out! Whether you do it yourself or have it professional done doesn't matter. However, you need to give your car a good cleaning with a soft cloth or sponge and some good car cleaning soap. Be sure to get any bugs or sap that may have landed on your car. It also needs a good coat of wax to protect your cars paint and keep it shiny. This will really help it look like new. Don't forget your tires and rims; they need to be cleaned as well. As for the inside you should vacuum your floor boards, floor mats and seats. You should spot clean any spills that may have occurred. Also you should dust the interior of your car the like dash and doors, then amour-all them. This will protect them from cracking and will make them shiny, which will lead the new car affect. Once your car is clean and shiny it will already start looking like new!

You should also take a look at your vehicle's headlights. About 9 out of 10 cars have hazy, cloudy and/or discolored headlights. This can be easily fixed with headlight restoration. Not only will your car look like new you will be driving safer since hazy, cloudy, or discolored headlights greatly reduce your night vision. Most auto body or car care facilities offer this service and it can usually be done a low cost and in little time.

If your car has any dents or dings you vehicle will have a hard time looking like new. There is an easy solution to this problem: paintless dent removal. Dents can be removed without affecting your cars original finish. Paintless dent removal does not take a lot of time and is quite cost effective. If you have the money and really want your car to shine get the dents out, it is well worth it!

Getting your car to back to looking like new is easy! Start with the simple things like washing and waxing regularly and then move the getting the minor repairs completed!
